REGISTRATION/ENROLLMENT

We are the first and only HBCU-style majorette dance line in the Arizona East Valley. Unlike traditional studio dance or cheer, we specialize in the high-energy, soulful performance style found at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Our training includes J-Sette, technical jazz, hip-hop, and parade formations, similar to the legendary lines at Alcorn State University and Southern University.

The Prancing Panthers are based in the East Valley of Arizona, serving families in Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, and Gilbert. We practice locally in these communities, bringing the Southern majorette tradition to the desert. Our central location makes us accessible to dancers across the Phoenix metro area who are looking for a unique cultural and athletic experience.

Our program is open to youth ages 7 to 18. We welcome all skill levels, from beginners with no experience to advanced dancers looking to refine their technique. Whether your child is in elementary, middle, or high school, we have a spot for them to learn competitive dance, build self-confidence, and be part of our "Panther Sisterhood."

Yes! The Prancing Panthers are an active competitive dance team. We perform at local parades, community events, and dance competitions throughout Phoenix and the East Valley. Our dancers also travel for showcases and have opportunities to perform at events that prepare them for collegiate-level dance lines and future scholarships.
